Kotor is also filled with Romanesque churches and Venetian-influenced palaces. Its nice to wander the streets here but it does get crowded. The islands are all pretty small and well connected by ferries. It is not very large, in fact, and in one day you can visit it easily, including a climb to the castle and an aperitif on the green banks of the Ljubljanica River that runs through it. Great post!
